  • Do not have Botox / Juvederm / Radiesse filler injections any closer than 10-14 days before and after your next appointment.

  • Laser treatments should be avoided 1 week before and after your next chemical peel appointment, if same body part is being treated.

  • To prepare your skin for a Skinceuticals Gel Peel, it is recommended that you prime your skin by beginning to use an AHA product 1-2 weeks prior to the procedure. Consult with our Aesthetician on which product will be best suited for you.

How Long Does A Chemical Peel Treatment Take?

  • A treatment takes approximately 30-40 minutes with minimal discomfort. There is no anesthesia or recovery time. After the treatment your skin will look healthy and refreshed!

After A Chemical Peel:

  • Makeup can be applied immediately following treatment however, it is best if you can wait 4-12 hours after to reduce the risk of irritation.
  • Avoid excessive heat and direct sun exposure (tanning booths, direct sun) for up to 7 days following the peel to reduce the change of hyper-pigmentation or serious sun burn. Use of a broad spectrum sun block daily is highly recommended.
  • A series of 6 peels will achieve significant skin improvements. Weekly applications are recommended. To optimize and maintain peel results, consult with our Aesthetician regarding the appropriate homecare regime.
