Laser Spider Vein Treatment
Laser Spider Vein Treatment is used for eliminating spider veins solely for cosmetic purposes. No needles are used. The heat from the laser essentially targets the blood vessels and heats them to the point of coagulation, causing the vessels to shrink. The laser is used on vessels < 3mm in size.

Will my spider veins disappear after one treatment?
- Spider veins will slowly disappear. After each treatment, you will see a 70% to 80% improvement in the appearance of face spider veins and a 30% to 40% improvement in leg spider veins.
- During the treatment the vessels will disappear and then come back (called vasospasm.)
- Vessels will appear raised and red similar to a “cat scratch.”
- Vessels will shrink in size (called vasoconstriction) and darken and will fade over a few weeks time.
- Your leg veins may appear bruised or darker red following treatment. This discoloration will fade over the next few weeks. Brown discoloration may take several months to fade.
Will these treatments prevent new veins from developing?
No. Spider vein therapy treats current veins but does not prevent new ones.
