What is it
Ultrasound Phoresis is a method to increase the penetration of vitamins and antioxidant formulas that can be customized for your specific skin problems.
We can treat most skin areas that are sun damaged, i.e. face, chin, hands, arms and feet (we cannot treat the neck area due to the carotid artery location). Other requests can be discussed at the free consultation to determine appropriateness and safety.
How It Works
An ultrasound wand is used to massage the treatment area, and to actively drive the vitamin C antioxidant serum deep into the skin. Far deeper penetration than if the product would be simply rubbed into the skin. The Ultrasound provides deep heating effects to the body tissues. It can penetrate between 2-5 centimeters into the body tissue depending on the settings. The Ultrasound Phoresis can be performed independently or following a microdermabrasion treatment. Ultrasound Phoresis represents an important next step in treating damaged skin. Itís a leap forward in skin protection and maintenance. It takes just minutes, it feels wonderful, and it works!
